What to do with Chard!

The beautiful thing about chard, is it's perfect when it's prepared simply. Wash the leaves, and steam it covered in a pan. Just a little water so that it doesn’t stick, but you don’t want to add a lot of water. It has plenty. Don’t use oil yet.

Let it cook down, and be sure not to over do it. Plate it, and op it off with a little olive oil, sea salt, and fresh lemon. That's it! The flavor of the chard itself is wonderful.

You see! It’s perfect, just the way it is. Sometimes you just got to let the vegetable speak for itself. Nothing complicated. Just some nice warm chard.
