Frisée Salad Recipe
This week we have such a beautiful mix of ingredients, to make a frisée salad. Which ever size bundle you have with us, this will work well. The more you go up in size the more fun flavors you’ll have, so that’s something to ponder. Especially, during Summer season.

Frisée Salad
This Italian style frisée salad is perfect for the beginning of Summer.
Ingredients
Lemon Garlic Dressing
- 1 Cup of Olive Oil/ Avocado Oil Mix
- 4 Tbsp. Green Olive Juice
- 2 Lemons
- 1/2 Tsp. Sea Salt
- 1/2 Tsp. Black Pepper
- 6 Cloves of Fresh Garlic
The Salad
- 1 Head of Frisee
- Lunch Box Peppers
- Fresh Parsley
- Olives
- Cherry Tomatoes
- Chicory
- Fresh Onion
- Oregano
Instructions
- Rinse and dry the head of frisee. Cut a thin slice off the bottom of the head. Then tear the leaves off, and put them all in a bowl.
- Sauté the lunchbox peppers in avocado oil on medium heat, flipping them over until they're browned all around.
- Sauté chopped garlic until it's cooked through. It can be slightly crispy.
- Blend the garlic and all dressing ingredients until smooth.
- Pour the dressing over the leaves. It's ok if the dressing is warm.
- Top the salad with the sautéed peppers, freshly sliced onions, tomatoes, chicory, sliced olives, fresh parsley, and a little bit of fresh oregano.
