Garden Frisée Salad with Pistachios

Ingredients

  • Frisée salad
  • 1 head frisee
  • Sprigs of scarlet frill
  • Tangerine or mandarin slices
  • Half an avocado
  • Slices of grilled lemon
  • Sesame dressing (click here for our's!)
  • Sesame oil
  • Sumac
  • Pistachios
  • Peas
  • Black pepper
  • Salt

Instructions

  1. Chop the frisée into two parts.
  2. Add a little olive oil to a pan and sauté a handful of pistachios until they’re a little brown.
  3. Add peas the pan and sauté for one minute. Sprinkle with black pepper.
  4. Pour the hot pistachios, oil, and peas over the frisée.
  5. Add a little sesame oil and mix into the greens.
  6. Add a little scarlet frill if you have it.
  7. Chop half an avocado.
  8. Pour sesame dressing in the salad once the avocado is in.
  9. Grill a lemon in a pan, then squeeze the lemon over the top.
  10. Sprinkle sumac, salt, and black pepper.
  11. Top with mandarin or tangerine slices if you like.
